My Halloween Costume

I haven't planned ahead for Halloween for years, and now that I live in San Francisco (this city LOVES dressing up!) I decided to come up with something at least semi-creative this year. Then I stumbled upon this dress on Modcloth!

I decided to go with cute and unique rather than cliche and slutty. I'll wear that along with a homemade cake-with-candles headpiece and perhaps my new GoGo boots ($7 at Target!):
