30 for 30 - day 20/21 + LA!

This weekend was short on outfit photos but big on catching up and exploring LA, so you'll have to forgive me for the lack of "what I wore" pictures. I'll make up for it with photos of my friends and LA, deal?

day 20 - scarf: Delias or Alloy; belt: Modcloth; bag: JoTotes  /  day 21 - necklace: Etsy; tights: Gap; belt: Modcloth

Saturday: Santa Monica, storm clouds, fast food and fancy sushi.

Storms a-brewin' in Santa Monica!

Baird (my buddy at UCLA) and me

My high school BFF Katlin and me by the Pacific

See the rainbow on the horizon?
In-N-Out, a west coast institution (which I have been to once in the 2 years I've lived in the bay area)

After In-N-Out, we went out for a real dinner at Yamshiro...

... with a lovely view of the city

The next day: Hollywood, starting with yummy pasta breakfast at Hugo's!

Baird's healthy green quinoa omelet / I can't even explain how much I love pasta for breakfast.

That blurry white thing above my head is, in fact, the Hollywood sign.

Who knew the view was so pretty over LA? (hint: not me)

I finished up my visit with some Roscoe's chicken and waffles, eaten in the car on the way to the airport. (We know each other from Tennessee, so it was only fitting.)

And now... Home! Back to more regular posts soon? Whatever "regular" means...

I had such a great time seeing you two! I will definitely be looking into a San Fransisco trip

  4. Aw, you guys look like you had a great time. I'm jealous! By the way, if I hadn't seen the food in front of Baird, I would wonder if he even eats. He's so thin! Of course, I hear that it's easy to be thin in LA, due to healthy food being more abundant. Anyways, glad you all were able to hang out. Again, I'm super jealous!
